How to Install Scrubs V2 Kodi Addon (Firestick/Android TV)
Step-by-step guide to installing the Scrubs V2 Kodi addon on your Firestick or Android TV. No debrid service required — free movies, shows, anime, and live TV in under 10 minutes.
Most Kodi addon guides end with “and you’ll need Real-Debrid for this to actually work” — which is fine, until you don’t want to pay for another subscription just to watch a movie. Scrubs V2 is the exception. I installed it on my Firestick 4K Max running Kodi 21 Omega, and it pulled up working streams for movies, TV shows, and anime without a debrid account attached to anything.
The whole install takes about ten minutes. Here’s exactly how I did it.
To install Scrubs V2 on Kodi: add https://jewbmx.github.io as a File Manager source, install the Jewbmx repository zip, then install Scrubs V2 from the Video add-ons section. No Real-Debrid or paid subscription required — though you can connect one for premium links if you want.
What You Need Before Starting
Before we touch a single setting, make sure you’ve got the basics covered:
- Kodi installed on your Firestick — Scrubs V2 requires Kodi 21 Omega. If you’re on an older version, update first.
- Unknown Sources enabled in Kodi — we’ll cover this in step one, but it needs to be on before anything else works.
- A working internet connection — obvious, but worth saying. If your streams are buffering, that’s usually a connection issue, not an addon issue.
- A VPN running (strongly recommended) — more on this below, but enable it before you start installing.

Why Scrubs V2 Is Worth Installing
Most on-demand Kodi addons fall into one of two camps: they work great with Real-Debrid, or they barely work at all without it. Scrubs V2 sits in a different category. It’s built around aggregating multiple free streaming links — so when you open a title, you get a list of sources to choose from. One buffers? Skip to the next. It’s not glamorous, but it works.
The addon covers:
- Movies — broad library pulling from multiple free sources
- TV shows — including current and catalog content
- Anime — a dedicated section, which most generalist addons skip
- Live streaming channels — a bonus on top of the on-demand content
And if you do have Real-Debrid or Premiumize, you can authorize them through the ResolveURL settings in the addon’s Tools menu for premium link access. But you don’t have to — which is the whole point.

Install Scrubs V2 Kodi Addon
8 stepsOpen Kodi Settings
Launch Kodi on your Firestick. From the home screen, select the gear icon in the top-left corner to open Settings.
Enable Unknown Sources
Go to System → Add-ons and toggle Unknown sources to ON. Kodi will warn you about third-party content — select Yes to confirm. This only needs to be done once.
Open File Manager
Go back to the main Settings screen and select File Manager. Then select Add source from the left-hand column.
Add the Jewbmx Repository URL
Select None (the path field at the top). Enter this URL exactly:
https://jewbmx.github.io
Give the source a name — “Scrubs” or “Jewbmx” both work. Select OK to save.
Install the Repository Zip
Return to the Kodi home screen and select Add-ons from the left menu. Then select Install from zip file. Navigate to the Jewbmx source you just added and select repository.jewbmx-1.6.0.zip (or the latest version shown). Wait for the “Add-on installed” notification.
Install Scrubs V2 from the Repository
Still in the Add-ons section, select Install from repository. Choose Jewbmx Repository, then go to Video add-ons. Find Scrubs V2 in the list and select it, then hit Install.
Wait for Dependencies
Kodi will automatically install any required dependencies. Wait for the “Scrubs V2 Add-on installed” notification before trying to open the addon. This usually takes 15–30 seconds.
Launch Scrubs V2
Go to Add-ons → Video add-ons → Scrubs V2. You’ll see the main menu with Movies, TV Shows, Anime, and Live TV sections. Select any title, and the addon will pull up a list of available streaming links to choose from.
Optional: Connect Real-Debrid or Premiumize
You don’t need a debrid service for Scrubs V2 to work — but if you already have one, connecting it upgrades the source quality noticeably. Premium debrid links tend to be faster, more stable, and less likely to buffer on 4K content.
To authorize Real-Debrid or Premiumize:
- Inside Scrubs V2, navigate to Tools
- Select ResolveURL Settings
- Find your debrid service in the list (Real-Debrid or Premiumize)
- Select Authorize and follow the on-screen prompts to link your account

Troubleshooting Common Issues
Addon won’t install / zip file not found
Double-check the URL you entered in File Manager: https://jewbmx.github.io — it’s easy to mistype. Make sure Unknown Sources is enabled and that your Kodi version is 21 Omega or compatible.
All sources buffer or fail to play This usually means your ISP is throttling your connection. A VPN routes around this — connect to a server and retry. If you’re already on a VPN, try switching to a different server location.
“Add-on not found” after installing repository The repository may need a moment to update. Go to Add-ons → My add-ons → All repositories → Jewbmx Repository and select Check for updates. Then retry the install from repository steps.
Kodi crashes when opening Scrubs V2 Clear Kodi’s cache first: Settings → Applications → Kodi → Clear Cache on your Firestick. Restart Kodi and try again. For general Firestick performance issues, our Firestick buffering fixes guide covers the full troubleshooting checklist.
Wrapping Up
Scrubs V2 is one of the more reliable free Kodi addons available right now — mainly because it doesn’t pretend to offer more than it does. Multiple source links, broad content coverage across movies, TV, anime, and live channels, and no mandatory subscription to get started. If you hit a bad stream, skip it. That’s the whole model, and it works.
