Review Guidelines
Last updated: February 1, 2026
At firestick.io, we take our reviews seriously. This page explains our methodology for evaluating apps, devices, and services so you can trust our recommendations.
Our Review Process
1. Research
Before testing, we research the product thoroughly. We review official documentation, user feedback, and competitor analysis to understand what to look for.
2. Hands-On Testing
We test every app and device ourselves on actual Fire TV hardware. We don't rely on press releases or manufacturer claims—we verify functionality firsthand.
3. Multiple Devices
We test across different Fire TV models when possible, including:
- Fire TV Stick 4K Max
- Fire TV Stick 4K
- Fire TV Stick Lite
- Fire TV Cube
4. Extended Use
Quick impressions aren't enough. We use products over days or weeks to identify issues that only appear with extended use.
5. Regular Updates
Apps and services change. We revisit our reviews periodically and update them when significant changes occur.
