Diggz Xenon Kodi Build: How to Install on Firestick (2026 Guide)
Step-by-step guide to installing the Diggz Xenon Kodi build on your Firestick. Covers the Debrid and Free versions, the Chef Omega Wizard, troubleshooting, and Real-Debrid setup.
I’ve installed a lot of Kodi builds over the years — most of them are abandoned after one update cycle, half of them break within a week, and a surprising number are just somebody’s Confluence skin with a different wallpaper. Diggz Xenon is not that. It’s consistently the most recommended build in the Kodi community, and after spending time with it on my Firestick 4K Max running Kodi 21 Omega, I understand why. The addon selection is deep, the interface holds up, and the Debrid version in particular is genuinely excellent for 4K streaming.
This guide walks through the full installation — from adding the Diggz repo to completing the setup wizard — plus which version to pick, how Real-Debrid fits in, and what to do when things go sideways.
To install Diggz Xenon on Firestick: add http://diggz1.me/diggzrepo as a file source in Kodi, install the Chef Omega Wizard from the Diggz Repository, then select either Diggz Xenon 4K Debrid (recommended, requires Real-Debrid) or Diggz Xenon 4K Free. The whole process takes 10-15 minutes. You’ll need Kodi 21 Omega already installed — if you haven’t done that yet, start with the Kodi installation guide first.
What Is Diggz Xenon — And Why Does It Keep Topping Every List?
Diggz Xenon is a pre-configured Kodi build from the Diggz Team. When you install it, it replaces Kodi’s default interface with the Xonfire skin and loads a curated set of streaming addons across movies, TV, live TV, sports, anime, and more. Instead of spending hours hunting down working addons and configuring them yourself, the build does that upfront.
The reason it keeps ranking #1 — TroyPoint, VPNHacks, and TrustFirms all put it at the top — is consistency. The Diggz Team updates the build roughly monthly to keep addons working, and they’re responsive on their forum at forum.diggz1.me when things break. That kind of maintenance cadence is rare in the Kodi build world.
Current version is Diggz Xenon 4K, compatible with Kodi 21 Omega. Build size is around 400MB, so expect a few minutes of download time on an average connection.
The Two Versions: Debrid or Free?
The Chef Omega Wizard gives you a choice when you install:
Diggz Xenon 4K Debrid — This is the one to get. It’s optimized for Real-Debrid, which is a link resolver service that costs about $3-4/month. Real-Debrid unlocks cached torrents and premium hosters, which translates to reliable 4K streams with minimal buffering. The developer dedicates most of their time to this version.
Diggz Xenon 4K Free — Doesn’t require a debrid account. Uses free streaming sources via addons like Elementum. It works, but the free version is less stable — the developer has said openly that development focus is on the Debrid build. Some users report errors on launch with the free version that don’t appear in the Debrid build.
Honest answer: if you’re already paying for streaming services, $3-4/month for Real-Debrid is less than a single month of most of them and genuinely transforms the experience. More on that in the Real-Debrid section below.

→How to Install Diggz Xenon on Firestick
Before You Start
You need Kodi 21 Omega already installed on your Firestick. If you haven’t done that, follow the complete Kodi installation guide first, then come back here.
Install Diggz Xenon on Firestick
12 stepsEnable Unknown Sources in Kodi
Open Kodi and go to Settings (gear icon) → System → Add-ons → toggle Unknown Sources to ON → confirm Yes when prompted. This allows Kodi to install addons from outside the official Kodi repository.
Open File Manager
From the Kodi main menu, go back to Settings → File Manager → Add Source → click <None>.
Enter the Diggz Repository URL
Type the following URL exactly: http://diggz1.me/diggzrepo
If you get an error, try one of these alternatives:
https://diggzrepo.ddns.nethttps://tinyurl.com/diggz123https://nebulous42069.github.io/diggz/
Click OK when done.
Name the Source
In the media source name field, type Diggz → click OK → click OK again to save. This is just a label you’ll use in the next step — it can be anything you like.
Navigate to Install from Zip File
Return to the Kodi home screen. Go to Add-ons → click the package icon (box icon in the top-left) → select Install from Zip File.
Install the Diggz Repository
Select the Diggz source you just added → click the .zip file listed (it will be named something like repository.DiggzRepo.zip) → wait for the “Diggz Repository Add-on installed” notification in the top-right corner.
Install Chef Omega Wizard
Still in the package icon menu, select Install from Repository → Diggz Repository → Program Add-ons → Chef Omega Wizard → click Install. Wait for the installation notification.
Open Chef Omega Wizard
From the Kodi home screen, go to Add-ons → Program Add-ons → Chef Omega Wizard. The wizard interface will open.
Open the Build Menu
Inside the Chef Omega Wizard, click Builds or Build Menu to see the available Diggz builds.
Choose Your Version
Select either:
- Diggz Xenon 4K Debrid — if you have a Real-Debrid account (recommended)
- Diggz Xenon 4K Free — if you don’t want to use a debrid service
Click Install or Continue → choose Server 1. If Server 1 fails or is slow, switch to Server 2.
Wait for the Build to Download
The build is approximately 400MB — download time depends on your connection speed. Don’t touch anything during the download. When it finishes, click OK to force close Kodi.
Relaunch Kodi and Complete Setup
Open Kodi again. The Xenon interface (Xonfire skin) should now be active. Follow the Diggz Setup Wizard that launches automatically: Step 1 installs required updates, Step 2 installs the addons. Let it run to completion before trying to stream anything.
Setting Up Real-Debrid with Diggz Xenon
Real-Debrid is a link resolver service — it caches popular torrents on high-speed servers and gives you direct access to those files. The practical result: faster streams, higher quality (up to 4K), and far fewer dead links. At around $3-4/month, it’s the single best upgrade you can make to the Diggz Xenon experience.
After the build installs, you’ll need to authorize Real-Debrid inside the individual addons. For Seren and Umbrella — the two main debrid-focused addons — the process is the same:
- Open the addon → go to its settings/configuration menu
- Find the Real-Debrid authorization option
- Enter your Real-Debrid credentials or use the device auth code method
- Save and exit settings
Once authorized, those addons will prioritize debrid-cached links over free sources. You’ll notice the difference immediately — streams load faster and quality options go higher.

→Troubleshooting Common Issues
Repository URL fails to load — Double-check for typos and extra spaces. If the primary URL (http://diggz1.me/diggzrepo) is down, try the alternatives listed in Step 3 above.
Server 1 fails during build download — Switch to Server 2 in the build menu. The servers can get congested, especially after a new build version drops.
Chef Omega Wizard hangs (spinning wheel) — Exit Kodi completely, clear Kodi’s cache from your Firestick settings (Settings → Applications → Kodi → Clear Cache), then relaunch.
Addon dependency errors during wizard — This sometimes happens when the repo installation didn’t complete cleanly. Go back through Steps 6-7 and reinstall the Diggz Repository zip file, then try the wizard again.
Build causes lag or stuttering — The 400MB build is resource-heavy. On older Firestick models (non-4K, original Lite), performance can be sluggish. If you’re on older hardware, a lighter build from the best Kodi builds roundup might serve you better.
Xenon Free build errors on launch — The developer has been open about prioritizing the Debrid version. If the Free version is consistently crashing, consider grabbing a Real-Debrid account and switching to the Debrid build — it’s the more stable option.
Exploring the Addons Further
Diggz Xenon includes most of the top streaming addons, but if you want to understand what each one does or find addons the build doesn’t include, the best Kodi addons for Firestick guide goes deep on the full addon ecosystem — movies, TV, sports, live TV, and more.
If you’re new to sideloading in general and want to understand the mechanics of how all this works, how to sideload apps on Firestick covers the full process with the Downloader app.
